Cancún 2019

A February week on the Riviera Maya, and mostly a lesson in slowing down. The resort near Cancún gave us turquoise water and white sand, thatched palapas out over the pier, and gardens and fountains to wander between swims.

There wasn't much of an itinerary, and that was the point — sunrise over the Gulf with a coffee, long warm afternoons by the water, and the sky doing something spectacular again every evening. Sometimes the best trips are the ones with the fewest plans.

This trip ran 5 days, February 13–17, 2019. Along the way we spent time at Cancún — Riviera Maya. The gallery below tells it day by day, in 15 photographs.
